Day 60

This is the face you get when someone doesn't eat all of their dinner and

 now wants yours because he's still hungry.

Day 59

The boys and I are cuddeling on "mommy's bed" as Easton calls it to keep warm. Of course on the night when there is an ice storm our furnace goes out!

Day 58

We had 3 lilttle visitors show up during the night. They brought a lot of fun things along with them for our "blue" kind of day. You will have to check the other blog on Sunday to see all the fun "blue" things we did!

Day 57

This picture is for Auntie and Finley. Someone else likes to wear shorts and t-shirts around the house now. I think he likes them because he knows I want to pack them to take to Mexico.

Day 56

Grandma and I had a very busy day shopping for our trip. Nolan got to tag along with us. We were so busy shopping we didn't stop to eat until 8:30pm!!!

Day 55

Grandpa hung our art frames. I LOVE them!! We even painted today and put our new pictures in the frames. Spencer is so proud to see his art on the walls.

Day 54

As if loading 3 kids into a car isn't enough work Easton has learned a few new words to say to make it more of a challenge "I do it!" He insists on buckling himself and undoing his buckle every single time and if you don't let him be sure that he will probably scream the whole time you are in the car.



Day 53

One way we try to get the boys to eat more at dinner is to tell them that if they eat a good dinner they will get big muscles. So tonight they were showing us their muscles.

Day 52

Waking up at 6am is rough when you stay up all night coloring on yourself with a pen and coming out of your room 5 times for random things!

Life with boys can be messy! There's nothing like putting your hand right in it!

Day 50

I feel like I haven't seen much of our kids today. Spencer and Easton both slept until 10:15am. They NEVER do that! Easton took a 3 hour nap this afternoon and Spencer is currently in bed for maybe the night. I know Spencer doesn't feel well so hopefully all this sleep will help him fight whatever is bugging him.

Our vacation is exactly 1 month from today! Time to start packing!

I hit my wall today and had a total break down and by break down I mean I cried a lot. It seems like my kids can't catch a break from being sick. Nolan has a double ear infection and Spencer woke up with a fever of 103. Taking care of 3 little boys can be super stressful. As much as I HATE running I find that it has helped me with my stress and allows me a bit of alone time to decompress. So tonight I had a date with the treadmill.

Day 46

Spencer wanted to bring his Christmas bear to school today. He wanted to make sure he got there safe.

Day 44

Spencer is learning the art of wiping after he goes to the bathroom. Only he needs to learn that he doesn't need a whole roll of toilet paper to do it. We found him with a plugged toilet trying to reach in and pull toilet paper out YUCK! We now own this fun contraption in case anyone else gets the same bright idea.

Day 43

Easton LOVES to hide in small corners and cover his eyes in hopes that you wont see him. I wanted to change his diaper so he took off running. Another favorite spot he likes is between the toilet and wall in the bathroom.

Day 42

I'm not sure you can eve tell what this is but it's blue highlighter on the wall. Over the last few weeks I've been finding different walls in the house that have been colored on. Someone has been busy while I wasn't looking! My guess on which kid did it would be Easton.

Day 41

It's the little things that matter. No matter how many kids you have going grocery shopping with them can be a pain in the butt. You try to keep them busy while you hurry around the store to get all the things you need and no matter what when you get home you'll realize you forgot something in your rush. So when we first moved to H. I was shocked when I went to the store and I found out I had to bag my own groceries and I had to go to a different store to buy liquor (not that we are big drinkers but it's a pain when you need to pick something up.) So now I am trying to entertain the boys while I shop and while I'm bagging my groceries. Some day when they get older I can see that being the perfect job for them but until then I take advantage of letting someone else do it for me when I visit the stores in EC. Like I said it's the little things that can make a persons day.

Day 40

When I first carried a diaper bag for Spencer it was bigger then this and I swear I had enough stuff in it for him to survive for 5 days and any medical emergency. Now that I'm carrying stuff for 3 boys I only take the basics or I would be pulling a suitcase! So whats in my diaper bag?  There are two bottles, a glass for each boy, toys for Nolan, dirty diaper bags, burp rags, a lovely for Nolan, extra outfit (sometimes) formula, wipes diapers (thankfully Nolan and Easton are wearing the same size.) Nuks, treats and money in case I need to get something I forgot. I usually have to make room for my wallet and the camera also. I can't wait for the day to come when I can carry a regular purse again!

Day 39

It was Spencer's turn to get sick. Thankfully Grandma answered our panicked call at 5:30am and agreed to watch him for the day and take him to the clinic. While they were there he talked her into cheese balls and chocolate milk!

Day 38

This wont even last last us a week. I feel like every time I go to the store I'm picking up at least 2 gallons. (Yes I posed my milk like this in the fridge so that you could see how many gallons we have at one time.)

Day 37

My two little patients. I took a sick day today to stay home and take care of my little monkeys. At least they planned their injuries/illnesses together so I could take one day off to take care of the two of them. I swear when you have kids all of your vacation time goes towards taking care of them when they are sick! I also think we have met our hospital deductable for the year.

Day 36

On Sunday mornings we head to the Y. While I get a workout in Ryan plays with the boys in the gym. They play basketball, football and soccer. Apparently though in the hour and half we are there they need to stop for a rest and a snack!



Day 35

We brought the boys to the Hot Air Affair for the first time. This year however there were only 2 hot air balloons instead of 30! Oh well Spencer told us he still had fun!

Day 34

Nolan and I spent our Friday night at Children's ER. He started wheezing yesterday and was worse tonight. It was told I could go to our local ER but my experince has proven that Childrens is where we needed to go. After a breathing treatment, steriods and a chest x-ray we were sent home. Even with the vomit on his shirt he's still pretty cute!

Day 33

Every single morning before school the boys will ask for the same things. Go-over bar also known as a nutri-grian bar and milk. Sometimes they will mix it up and ask for string cheese. They also get 2 different gummy vitamins only when they have their coat and shoes on kind of like a reward. Nolan gets a bottle and his Zantac.

Day 32

I was so proud of Easton today when I went to pick him up after his first day in his new room. He had been dry all day but 1 time after nap. Then I went to Spencer's room and got this note...... (Easton's report sheet is on the top Spencer's is on the bottom.)
